Yael Levy and Nikos Kokolakis are composers-performers currently located in The Hague (NL).
Since 2015 they are working collaboratively in various projects. In their works they are focusing in multimedia and collective composition, aiming for organic combination of music composition, field recording, visual art, and performance-art.


Yael Levy (1983, IL) studied Composition with Dr. Hagar Kadima and completed the BA in Music Education at Levinsky College, Tel Aviv. She obtained the BA and MA in Composition, with Gilius van Bergeijk, Yannis Kyriakides and Justin Bennett at The Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
She took part in several residencies and performances abroad including the Living Museum Project in Cyprus.

Nikos Kokolakis (1981, GR) studied Physics at the University of Crete and Composition at the Ionian University in Corfu. He finished his Master studies in Composition at The Royal Conservatory in The Hague with Peter Adriaansz, Yannis Kyriakides and Raviv Ganchrow.
In 2016 his piece Stream for Marimba was nominated with the first prize in the Composition Concours within the TROMP international percussion competition.
